Located on the western coast of Hudson's Bay, Whale Cove is a small, very traditional Inuit community. The area is covered in rugged land, rolling hills, and small pristine lakes. The citizens follow the rhythm of the seasons; in spring, most camp off the land, fish in nearby lakes, hunt geese and gather eggs. There are millions of berries to pick in the fall, and community gatherings are popular where games and square dancing are enjoyed.
